  • 1 teaspoon Dried Basil
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil

Instructions

Meatball Parmesan Casserole Recipe

  • Grease your casserole dish with some olive oil and place the meatballs on it.
  • Pour the pasta sauce over the meatballs to cover them halfway.
  • Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese, and half of the grated parmesan cheese onto the casserole
  • Sprinkle some Italian seasoning (depending on your preference, you can add some salt and pepper)
  • Bake this food in the oven while uncovered, at a temperature of 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes.
  • Ensure the cheese is well melted and your meatballs have a crisp, golden-brown color.
  • Get the baked dish from the oven, sprinkle the remaining grated parmesan cheese, and finely chopped fresh herbs.
  • Serve the dish hot with a nutritious side dish such as zoodles, roasted vegetables, or bread. My children prefer noodles at any time.

Pasta Sauce Recipe

  • Fry the onions in olive oil until translucent, add the minced garlic, and stir for 2 minutes.
  • Add the crushed tomatoes, sugar, salt, dried basil, and chili powder.
  • Lower the heat and cook the tomato pasta sauce for 30 minutes till thick in consistency. Pour the sauce over the meatballs.
