Equipment

  • 1 Chocolate mold
  • 1 Water bath or microwave
  • 1 Coffee maker
  • 1 Glass cup
  • 1 Dessert spoon

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Chopped Chocolate
  • 3 cups Ice Cream
  • 3 small Candy canes
  • ¼ cup Holiday sprinkles
  • 6 tablespoons Peppermint syrup
  • 3 cups Strong coffee

Instructions

  • Melt the chocolate chunks in a water bath (you can use a microwave method). Stir to ensure all chunks have melted.
  • Use a clean paintbrush to apply the chocolate onto your chocolate mold. Set aside for the chocolate to dry and set.
  • Carefully peel off the mold from the set chocolate. Scoop some ice cream and fill one half of the sphere. Heat a skillet on medium heat, gently place the empty half sphere on the skillet to slightly melt the edges.
  • Sprinkle some crushed candy cane on the ice cream and cover by attaching the half-empty sphere. Pipe some melted chocolate around the sphere and sprinkle some green and sprinkle.
  • Place your cup under your coffee machine, half-fill your cup with hot coffee, and stir in a teaspoon of peppermint syrup. Gently place the chocolate bombs in the coffee.

Notes

Enjoy the special Italian dessert with a twist of chocolate and make a chilly winter night
