Strawberry Banana Smoothie Without Yogurt

The strawberries are sweet and tart in flavor, the immense sweetness of the banana balances out the tartness in the strawberries.

Equipment

  • 1 Blender and or food processor
  • 1 Knife
  • 1 Chopping Board
  • 1 Zip lock bags

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Frozen strawberries
  • 1.5 cups Chopped frozen bananas
  • 1 cup Apple juice
  • ½ cup Ice cubes
  • 1 Freshly chopped banana

Instructions

Using a blender

  • Pour in the frozen strawberries, bananas and ice cubes into the blender, pour in the apple juice and blend.
  • Pulse to a smooth consistency till all the ingredients are crushed and fully incorporated.
  • Add a little apple juice if the smoothie is too thick. Blend to desired consistency.

Using food processor and blender

  • Pour the frozen fruits and ice cubes into the food processor. Process till all the ingredients are completely crushed.
  • Transfer the crushed fruits to the blender, add the apple juice and blend to your desired consistency.
    It should be thick but still flow out of your blender jar.
  • Serve immediately, garnishing with some chopped fruits. Enjoy the cool refreshing smoothie on a hot afternoon.
