- 15 cups Rice Krispies
- 15 tbsp. Butter
- 15 cup Mini Marshmallows
Measure all the butter, marshmallows, and rice krispies. Divide the three ingredients into 5 batches or according to the colors you would want for your Easter eggs.
In a medium heavy-based saucepan, melt the butter and marshmallow over low heat. You can melt the butter and mini marshmallows in a microwave for 1 or 2 minutes.
Melt the butter and marshmallows in 5 batches as you stir each food color of your choice. Use the rubber spatula to mix until the food color is fully incorporated into the mixture.
Pour in the mini Rice Krispies in each saucepan or bowl with your preferred colored marshmallow mix. Fold and mix until the rice krispies are completely covered with the creamy marshmallow and butter mixture.
Shape Easter eggs using your hands or Easter egg molds and set aside to set.
