Sliced Baked Potatoes With Cheese
Ingredients
- 4 large Potatoes
- 2 Green Onions Finely chopped
- 1 tsp. Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp. Paprika
- 1 cup Cheddar Cheese Shredded
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 2 tbsp. Olive oil
Instructions
- Preheatthe oven to 375 degrees.
- Spray your baking dish with spray and set it aside.
- Wash and slice the potatoes. Each slice should be approximately ¼ inch thick.
- Place the potatoes in the baking dish you set aside and cover it with a paper towel.
Microwave Method
- Microwave the potatoes on high for approximately 5 minutes or until the potatoes are almost soft.
Top Stove Method.
- If you don’t have a microwave, place the potatoes in a large pot, cover with water, and cook on medium-high until it boils then drain the potatoes and lay them in your baking dish.
- Remove the potatoes from the microwave/large pot and lightly brush them with olive oil.
- Sprinkle them with cheese, green onions, garlic, paprika, or any other seasoning of your choice. Make sure all potatoes are coated with the oil and seasoning. Place 5 to 4 slices of potatoes in a greased muffin tin.
- Bake the potatoes in your preheated oven for 15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and the potatoes soft. Some parts of the potatoes will be golden brown in color.
- Serve them hot on the side of your favorite vegetables and a cream.
