Dunkin Blueberry muffins are delicious and can be made within minutes. If you haven't got time to visit a Dunkin outlet or it is too late for an online order, do not worry when the delicious Donut craving strikes.

This true copycat recipe provides simple steps using simple ingredients to sweet and heavenly blueberry muffins. This was inspired by my Croissant Muffin Recipes on this site.

In my house, Dunkin blueberry muffins rank first for breakfast, brunch, or dessert. Fresh blueberries add a sweet fruity flavor making the taste unforgettable. When you make them at home, you can add more blueberries, escalating the deliciousness!

A sprinkle of granulated sugar or cinnamon streusel on the Dunkin Blueberry muffins is like great frosting on a cake. You will love the texture and the flavor the toppings introduce to the sweet, moist muffins.

    Ingredients, Substitutes, and Equipment.

All-purpose flour or cake flour works well in this recipe forming the base of the recipe.

Milk is rich in flavors and contains fat that moisturizes the muffin butter.

Eggs contribute to the moisture content of the muffins.

Brown Sugar and granulated sugar add depth of sweetness and color to the blueberry muffins.

Granulated sugar is also sprinkled on top of the muffins before baking them.

Vanilla extract is my all-time favorite cake batter flavor responsible for the sweet and almost mild aroma in the muffins.

    Butter moisturizes the muffin batter.

Fresh blueberries are the best to toss into the muffin butter. These fruits add a beautiful color contrast as well as a tangy acidic flavor balancing the sugars. If you cannot access fresh berries, frozen blueberries will do.

    Instructions

    1. Whisking flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until thoroughly mixed.

    2. Beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar till soft and creamy.

    3. Adding eggs to the mix

    4. Mixing all the cinnamon streusel ingredients in a bowl.

    Equipment

    • Mixing bowls
    • Electric hand mixer or stand mixer
    • Rubber spatula
    • Muffin tins
    • Muffin papers
    • Ice cream scoop

    Experts Tip

For amazing results, always use ingredients at room temperature. Another aspect to keep in mind is how you measure the flour, ‘scoop and leveling’ will ensure accuracy.

Excess flour will alter the ratio of dry ingredients to wet ingredients yielding undesirable results.

Stop mixing as soon as all the ingredients are thoroughly mixed. Over-mixing yields rubbery and chewy muffins far from what you enjoy at Dunkin.

    FAQ Dunkin Blueberry Muffins

How long can I keep the Dunkin Blueberry muffins?

Dunkin blueberry muffins can stay fresh in an airtight container in the refrigerator for a week.
They freeze beautifully when each is wrapped separately by cling film or parchment paper.
The muffins are very delicious. I have never had to freeze them as they fly off the canister fast.

    Can I use frozen blueberries?

Yes, you may use frozen blueberries when they have thawed completely and patted dry.
Although, fresh blueberries are the best choice for great-looking blueberry muffins.
